There is a proverb which says that charity begins at home. Basing on this Palliyawatta Parish too wants to witness to the fact that charity is one of the most notable tasks that a man can do on earth. This also paves the way to the joy of giving. To note in short how Palliyawatta Parish gives life to this fact...  Every month we donates some money to around 45 sick and aging for their medical and nourishment need.  Sponsors 14 students for their studies.  Sponsors a catholic teacher to carry out the catholic education in the school.  Offers free tuition for Math’s and English.
